# Switch between accounts

> Stay signed in to up to 5 Notis accounts and move between them in two clicks.

Have a work account and a personal one? Notis keeps up to 5 accounts signed in at once, on the web, in the Home Screen app and in the desktop app. You move between them without signing in again.

## Add an account

1. Click your account in the bottom-left corner.
2. Point to your name at the top of the menu. Your accounts appear, with a check next to the one you're using.
3. Click **Add account** and sign in to the other account. No account yet? Click **Create one**.

You stay signed in to your current account the whole time. Changed your mind? Click **Cancel** to go back.

On a phone, your accounts are listed right at the top of the menu.

## Switch accounts

Click your account in the bottom-left corner, point to your name, then click the account you want. Notis opens it on its home page.

* Your other accounts stay signed in, each with its own conversations and settings.
* Your other Notis tabs and windows switch too, so two accounts never mix on your screen.
* If an account was signed out in the meantime (after a password change, for example), Notis removes it from the list and opens the sign-in page with its email already filled in.

## Log out

* **Log out** signs out of the account you're using and opens the account you used before it. With a single account, you go back to the sign-in page.
* **Log out of all accounts** appears at the bottom of your account list once you have two or more accounts. It signs out of all of them.

## Good to know

* **Notifications:** this device gets notifications for the account you're using. Switch back to an account to receive its notifications again.
* **Home Screen app:** it installs for the account you're using.
* **Your Computer:** the desktop app connects your computer to the account you're using.
* **Space invitations:** if an invitation was sent to another of your accounts, Notis offers to switch to it. If that account isn't added yet, sign in to it from the invitation and you come straight back to accept it.
* **Calls:** switching accounts ends a voice call, and stops a reply that is still being written.
