How to perform a File Search
Simply ask to file search your Notion workspace

How does file search work
Notion documents
- All your Notion pages are vectorized recursively across all the pages it has access to.
- Documents inside files properties are also vectorized
- Notis use the file search tool to search those vector database to gather context accross your Notion workpace.
Attachments
- Compatible documents attached to emails or sent via one of the channels are also vectorized and attached to the current conversation context until Notis decides the conversation has move to a new topic. Learn more how Notis manage context
It can take up to 24 hours to new documents or updated documents to be vectorized and available to the file search tool.
