# Skills in Spaces

> See which Spaces use each skill, filter your Skills page by Space, and ask Notis to add a skill to a Space or move it.

The [Skills](/tools/skills) page shows every skill you can use: the ones you created or installed, and the ones that came with a Space someone shared with you. Under each skill, you see the Spaces that use it. Click one to open that Space.

## Filter by Space

Use **Filter by Space** at the top of the Skills page to see only the skills one Space uses. Turn on **Include sub-Spaces** to add the skills of the Spaces inside it.

## One skill, several Spaces

A skill used in several Spaces is the same skill everywhere. Edit its instructions once and every Space that uses it follows.

Your own settings stay yours: turning a skill off for yourself, or choosing which of your coding agents receive it, changes nothing for the other Editors.

## Add, move or remove a skill

Notis manages what a Space uses. Ask:

> "Add my meeting-notes skill to the Sales Space."

> "Move the outreach skill from SEO to Link building."

> "Take the brand voice skill out of the Marketing Space."

Notis tells you who gains or loses access, then makes the change. A skill that no Space uses anymore stays in the library of the person who removed it.

## When you leave a Space

When you leave a Space or are removed from it, its skills leave with it. With **Keep a copy** (checked by default) you get your own copy of the skills you lose; see [Share a Space](/spaces/share-a-space#remove-someone-or-leave). Skills you owned that the Space used stay in the Space as a copy, so it keeps working for everyone else.

## When a skill shows as unavailable

If a Space uses a skill that nobody in it can reach anymore, the skill shows as **Unavailable** in that Space. Ask Notis to relink it, duplicate it or remove it.
