Limitations
While Telegram integration offers powerful functionality, there are some limitations to be aware of:
Character Limits
Telegram has a more generous character limit of 4096 characters for text messages. Messages exceeding this limit will be split into multiple messages or may be converted to voice messages, depending on your settings.
When messages are particularly long, URLs will be sent separately as text to ensure they remain accessible and clickable.
Simply ask Notis for brief responses if you want to ensure receiving all information as text rather than having it split or converted.
Formatting Restrictions
Telegram supports more rich text formatting than WhatsApp, including bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, and code blocks. However, complex elements like tables may still have limited rendering capabilities in Telegram messages.
Other limitations
- Locations, contacts, poll and checklist are not supported.
- Group discussions are not supported.
