Chat with Documents
Chat with Documents lets you upload files to Notion and instantly ask questions about their content. Turn scattered files into a searchable knowledge base and get answers without hunting through folders.
You have two options for uploading documents:
- Forward a file to Notis: send the document to any channels on Notis. That document will be available immediately in the context of the conversation to the File Search tool. You can ask Notis to save it in your Notion workspace for long term access.
- Upload directly in Notion (via Notion or via Notis) and any document attached to a file property will be indexed within 24 hours and available to the File Search tool.

Upload your document in the conversation and start asking:
What are the key points in this contract?
Summarize the obligations for the client.
Are there termination clauses I should watch for?

Known Limitations
- We don’t do OCR on PDFs so avoid scanned document.
