Notis is a powerful AI messaging agent that connects to your Notion workspace, allowing you to delegate workflows directly through WhatsApp, Telegram, email, or Raycast. This guide will walk you through the installation process and provide tips to get the most out of Notis.
Step 1: Visit the Notis Website
Start by visiting notis.ai. The website provides an overview of Notis features, including the second brain system that comes with it. Take some time to explore the use cases shown on the website to understand what Notis can do for you.
- Click on "Start for free" on the website
- Enter your phone number
- Scan the QR code or click the button to be redirected to the chosen messaging app to continue Notis’ onboarding
Step 2: Connect to Your Notion Workspace
In your messaging app, follow Notis’ instructions. You’ll eventually be asked to choose your Notion setup.
Option 1: Use Notis Second Brain System (Recommended for New Users)
- If you're new to Notion or don't have an established productivity system, select "Use the template provided by the developer".
- This will install the complete Notis second brain system with pre-configured databases.
Important: only select this option once to avoid duplicating the template. If you need to go through this screen again, then select “Select pages” and select the page called “Notis Second Brain System”.
Option 2: Use Your Existing Notion Setup
- If you already have a Notion workspace and want to use your existing structure, select "Select pages".
- Choose the pages and databases you want Notis to have access to.
- Remember that Notis will have access to all subpages and databases within the pages you select.
Before connecting a new page, make sure of the following:
- The pages you share contain at least one database.
- All databases are named differently.
- If you have more than 20 databases, you’ll need to activate them in the portal.
Step 3: Activate Your Trial
You have two options here:
- Enter payment details for a 30-day free trial (use coupon code "first500" for 50% off the monthly price forever).
- Or ask Notis for a 7-day trial without payment details.
Step 4: Start Using Notis
Once connected, you can immediately start using Notis. Here are some recommended first steps:
- Record a voice message to bring Notis up to speed on your current tasks and projects
- Create your first task by simply telling Notis about it
- Explore your new Notion workspace (if you chose the Notis second brain system)
Key Features to Try
- Voice Messages: Record thoughts on the go and have Notis transcribe and organize them
- Reminders: Set up reminders that Notis should notify you
- Recurring Prompts: Set up prompts that Notis should perform at regular intervals
- Email Integration: Send emails to notis@notis.ai from your registered email address
- Content Generation: Ask Notis to draft blog posts, social media content, or other writing
Important Tips
- Response Time: Notis is optimized for intelligence and autonomy, not speed. Complex requests may take several minutes to process.
- Workflow: For best results, use Notis in a "fire and forget" manner - send a request and continue with your day.
