Set up your Social Media Calendar database in Notion

The Notis Second Brain already contains a Social Media Calendar database set up for you.

You can easily make a Social Media Calendar database or customize the one that comes with the template. Just make sure it has a title property and Notis will understand it should be used for social media.

Optional - Set up with NotionSocial

If you want scheduled posting, connect NotionSocial:

Create your NotionSocial account

Connect NotionSocial to the Social Media database already in the Notis Second Brain template or use the NotionSocial template directly.

Connect your social media accounts (X, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)

Give Notis access to your NotionSocial database (you can skip this step if you’ve already connected Notis to the Notis Second Brain template and used the Social Media database included).

If you choose to use NotionSocial, do not connect your social media accounts in the Notis portal. Notis will create the entries in your Social Media Calendar database and NotionSocial will handle the scheduling and posting on all your platforms.

Automations

Create social posts for new content

Use this automation to automatically turn each new piece of content into scheduled social posts.

In the Notis portal, open the Automations tab and create a new automation.

Choose a trigger that runs when new content is created (for example, a webhook from your CMS or a Notion trigger, depending on your setup).

Paste and adapt this instruction:

A new piece of content was created.

Goal:
Create social media post entries for this content in my Social Media Posts database.

Requirements:
- Create posts for:
	- LinkedIn (Flo)
