Use Wispr Flow’s Notetaker MCP server to let Notis read your meeting summaries, notes, and transcripts, so you can ask about a past call from whichever channel you happen to be in.

What this setup does

Wispr Flow is best known for dictation, but its Notetaker also records and writes up your meetings. Connecting its MCP server to Notis makes that meeting data searchable from WhatsApp, iMessage, Telegram, email, Voice Mode, or a coding agent, alongside everything else Notis can reach.
One thing to know up front: the MCP exposes your meeting data, not your dictation history. Your dictation stays in Wispr Flow.

Prerequisites

  • A Notis workspace with access to custom MCP connections
  • A Wispr Flow account on Mac or Windows with Notetaker/MCP access and cloud sync enabled
  • At least one recorded meeting
  • A browser available to complete Wispr Flow’s authorization

Wispr Flow MCP connection details

Unlike most hosted MCP servers, Wispr Flow gives each account its own personalized Server URL. There is no shared public endpoint to copy from documentation — you take yours from the app.
Server URL: personalized, copied from Wispr Flow → Settings → MCP (shown as AI Tools (MCP) in some versions), under All other apps Transport: remote MCP over HTTP Auth: browser-based authorization, no API key to paste

Treat your personalized Server URL as a credential. Do not paste it into a public issue, a shared document, or a screenshot.

Step 1: Copy your Server URL from Wispr Flow

  1. Open the Wispr Flow desktop app.
  2. Go to Settings → MCP (or AI Tools (MCP)).
  3. Find the All other apps section.
  4. Copy the Server URL shown there.
Confirm cloud sync is on. Without it, the server has nothing to serve.

Step 2: Add Wispr Flow as a custom MCP in Notis

  1. Open the Notis Portal and go to Settings → Integrations → Custom MCP.
  2. Click Add MCP.
  3. Name: Enter Wispr Flow.
  4. Description: Give Notis context on when to use it. For example:
“Use Wispr Flow to search my meeting summaries, notes, transcripts, attendees and calendar events from recorded meetings.”
  1. Server URL: Paste the personalized URL you copied in Step 1.
  2. Authentication: Complete the browser authorization when Notis prompts you. There is no API key to enter.
  3. Click Save.

Step 3: Verify the connection

Notis lists the tools the server exposes once the connection is saved. Start with something you can check by hand:
List my recorded meetings from this week in Wispr Flow and who attended.
If nothing comes back, re-open the connection in Settings → Integrations and finish the authorization.

What the connection can and cannot reach

Wispr Flow’s MCP connection is read-only. It can reach:
  • meeting summaries and notes
  • transcripts and refined transcripts
  • attendees and calendar events
  • recordings
  • notes shared with you, where permitted
It cannot reach or do:
  • your dictation history
  • creating, editing, or deleting meetings
That read-only boundary is a feature. Notis can search and summarise your meetings without any ability to change them.

Step 4: Ask your meetings something

From WhatsApp, voice, email, or the desktop app:
  • “What did we agree on in my call with Acme last Thursday?”
  • “Search my Wispr Flow transcripts for the part about the renewal date.”
  • “Summarise every meeting I had this week and list what I owe people.”
  • “Who was on the kickoff call, and what was assigned to each of them?”

Example workflow: turning a transcript into finished work

  1. Find the moment — “Search my Wispr Flow transcripts for where we discussed the pricing change.”
  2. Extract the decision — “What exactly did we settle on, and who agreed to it?”
  3. Do something with it — “Draft a short confirmation email to everyone on that call.”
  4. File it — “Add the two follow-ups that are mine to my tasks.”
The transcript is the evidence. Notis does the work that follows from it.

Troubleshooting

  • No tools listed: Re-open the connection in Settings → Integrations and complete the browser authorization again.
  • Server URL rejected: Copy it again from Settings → MCP → All other apps. It is unique to your account and can be regenerated.
  • Empty results: Confirm cloud sync is enabled in Wispr Flow and that the meeting was recorded by the Notetaker.
  • Looking for your dictation history: It is not exposed over MCP. Only meeting data is.
  • Not on Mac or Windows: The remote MCP server currently requires the desktop app on those platforms.

Wispr Flow’s Notetaker MCP server connects to Notis with a personalized Server URL and a browser authorization. It gives Notis read-only access to your meeting summaries, transcripts and attendees — so the meeting you half-remember becomes something you can ask about from your phone, and act on in the same message.
