A site is your Space’s pages as a public website. Anyone with the link can open them and use their buttons, without a Notis account. Notis itself stays out of it: no Notis agent, skill or automation is reachable through a site.

Turn a site on

  1. Open the Space and click Share.
  2. Turn on Publish as a site.
  3. Click Copy site link and send the link to whoever should see it.
Visitors see the published pages and their sub-pages, with the data they show today. Update a page and the site follows.

Share one page

To share one project or one saved page without opening the whole Space, publish just that page:
  • If the page has its own Share button, as saved HTML pages do, click it and choose Create public link. The button then reads Shared publicly: click it to Copy link.
  • Otherwise, open the page, click Share at the top, turn on Publish this page as a site and click Copy site link.
A page’s site shows that page and the pages under it. Visitors cannot reach any other record, even by changing the link.

What visitors can do

  • Open the pages and their sub-pages, move between them and search them.
  • Use the buttons on the pages: forms, actions, filters.
  • Nothing else. They see what the pages show, not the rest of your Space, and they cannot talk to your Notis.
Buttons that do something run on the account of the person who set them up, no matter who clicks. If that person leaves the Space, the button stops working until another Editor connects their own account.

Turn a site off

  • A whole Space: turn Publish as a site off in the Share window.
  • One page: click Shared publicly and choose Stop sharing, or turn Publish this page as a site off in the Share window.
The link stops working right away. Turning a site off and on again gives it a new link.

Good to know

  • Every Editor of the Space can turn its site, or a page’s site, on or off.
  • If a visitor tells you the site is unavailable, check that it is still on and send them the current link.
