Some apps don’t have APIs. Some workflows live entirely in a UI. Desktop Use lets Notis take over the mouse and keyboard on your computer to get those done — open the app, click the buttons, type the text, hit save. You watch it happen on your screen, and you can take back control at any moment.Documentation Index

What you can ask for
- “Open Figma and export every frame on this page as PNG.”
- “Reply to the next three DMs in my Messages app.”
- “Walk through this installer and pick the default options.”
- “Drag these files into the desktop app I just opened.”
What you need
- The Notis desktop app, installed and signed in.
- A Mac is the supported platform.
How it feels
Notis takes a screenshot, decides what to do, then moves the mouse or types — one small step at a time. It looks again after each step, so it can react to what’s actually on screen. While it works:- You can see exactly what’s happening.
- Move your own mouse or keyboard whenever you want — Notis will see the change and adjust.
- Close the desktop app or lock your screen to stop everything immediately.
When Notis uses it
Only as a last resort. If a task can be done with a script, a connected integration, or the Cloud Computer, Notis will go that way first — it’s faster and more reliable. Desktop Use is for the work that can only be done by clicking around.Related
