How it works
Just ask. There is nothing to connect and nothing to switch on.“Find out who’s behind hello@acme.com and what the company does.”Notis looks through the catalogue, picks the right tool, checks the price, and uses it. The result comes back in the conversation like any other answer.
What it costs
Each tool has its own price, and most are cents rather than dollars: reading a web page is about $0.004, a web search about $0.012, looking up a contact a fraction of a cent. Creating audio or video costs more — reading a long article aloud is a little over $1, and the most expensive thing in the catalogue is a twelve-second generated video at $4.32. Every price is shown on the tool’s own page, and Notis will not spend more than about $1.20 on a single use: if a tool costs more than that, it tells you the price instead of using it. Uses are drawn from the usage allowance already included in your plan — the same pool that covers everything else Notis does. There is no separate bill, no credit pack to buy, and no subscription in your name. What is available
The catalogue covers the work people most often need a specialist tool for:- Contact and company details — turn an email address or a website into a real profile
- SEO and website metrics — keyword rankings, traffic estimates, links
- Reading and collecting from websites — get clean, organised information out of a site
- Smarter web search — search built for finding good sources, not just pages
- Pages that need a real browser — read sites that only work when a browser opens them
- News and market signals — live feeds
- Weather — current conditions and forecasts anywhere

Profiles of the tools people reach for most — a selection, not the whole catalogue. Notis looks through all 1,400+ when you ask, including ones with no page of their own.
When Notis uses them
Notis prefers the apps you have already connected. If you have connected Gmail, it reads your mail with Gmail rather than paying for a tool to do it. Pay-per-use tools are for the gap: something you have not connected, and would not want to subscribe to. Notis reaches for them only when nothing you already have can do the job.Where they work
Ask for them in any Notis conversation — the app, or any of your connected messaging channels. They also work when you use Notis from a coding agent. In Voice Mode, Notis can find and use them too, but some calls can take up to two minutes. They are not available inside a Notis app view.Good to know
- Nothing to sign up for, and nothing to cancel.
- Notis tells you the price before an unusually expensive use.
- If a tool fails, you are not charged for it.
- Some work takes longer than a couple of minutes. Notis tells you it is still going, then comes back with the result.
